Sent Like Moses REQUIRES A Changed Perspective

Hello, my lovely ladies my apologies for the lack of a blog post. Let's chat and catch up on where I've been. First and foremost My husband and I moved. If you didn't know he is in Medical school. With that being said you tend to move quite often when in medical school for rotation, residency, and possible fellowships.

With this move, we both were very apprehensive about the move But in everything my husband I ask the Lord to send us like He sent Moses in Exodus. Did we think He was going to send us out of state... no we didn't.

We were content and happy in our last home. We had community, a great apartment and so much more that at the time I took for granted.

I know the Lord called us to our new location for a reason, and instead of being a negative Nacy. I've been praying and asking the Lord to help me change my perspective.

Because I have a whole list of CONS of why I don't like our new home

  • Lack of community

  • Small Kitchen

  • not walkable

  • No pantry

But I did say I want to change my perspective...

✨Alexis Prepsctive PROS✨

  • Small kitchen = COZY kitchen

  • Not walkable = Find an alternative walking route

  • Get creative with building community

It's a struggle some days to see the brighter side of things. When Moses was sent to Free Israel, he, too, was blinded by the difficulties that lie ahead or, in my instance, was blinded by the CONS list! When it got difficult to see the brighter side of things. He leaned on the Lord.

With that being said, I've only been in the new location for three weeks, and I have to give myself and the home some grace. Check out my latest video if you want an in-depth look into the moving process.

Lets chat leave comments below on how you delt with the Lord sending you?
