For the last year or so one of the late trends is living a soft life. Tiktokers, YouTubers, and influencers
all give you the same few tips, take your morning slow, do your makeup, etc it seems like the femininty trend that took over YouTube a few years ago has been repackaged to living a soft life. But for my Christian girls and ladies who know slow mornings and endless skincare products aren't the end all be all. How can we part take in a fun trend but also build personal and spiritual capital? I have a few tips and tricks for you all
Find Community
Its Summer time & schools are out. That means get plugged in and find a solid group of Christian girls to hang out with instead of doom-scrolling on TickTok. Don't worry I'm guilty of that too!. Find girls who you want to be genuine friends with. Community is all about connecting. Having a Soft Christian girl community means we have to put ourselves out there.
Ask the one girl you see at the coffee shop with her bible if you can sit with her. Build a community with the girlies that have a strong walk with the Lord. Trust me it will encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Summer hobbies
There are endless things we can do besides sit and rewatch The Summer I Turned Pretty. Season three comes out. One of my favorite hobbies is baking. But you might think to yourselves Alexis how is baking going to help with creating a Soft Christian summer? Let me explain, for me, baking is a way that I can host and serve others whether it is bringing my neighbor a loft of bread just because. Or the girls want to get together for a fun night of moving watching. either way Serving is one of the fruits of the spirit that will help cultivate a soft life through Christ
Here is a list of fun hobbies
